Albert Joseph McMahan, age 80, of La Vergne died Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2007 at 3:51 p.m. surrounded by his loving family.

He was a native of Davidson County and the son of the late Albert Burr and Verna Ann McMahon. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Bro. Milton Hicks will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

He is survived by his daughter: Elva Griggs of Smyrna, sister: Alma Josephine Poole of Antioch, 8 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife: Frances Muriel McMahon in 2003, daughter: Gail Kimbro, and several siblings.

Mr. McMahon was an employee of Nashville Machine. Grandchildren and great grandchildren will serve as Pallbearers.
