Alayne Winnifred Berg Ford

Alayne Winnifred Berg Ford, of Goodlettsville, died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, at Hendersonville Medical Center. She was 64 years old.
Born in Thief River Falls, Minn., Mrs. Ford is survived by her husband of 44 years Bruce Randall Ford of Goodlettsville; sons Shane Robert (Amy) Ford and Matthew Bruce (Amanda) Ford all of Hendersonville; five grandchildren Emma Elizabeth, Ryan Bruce, Katie Alayne, Matthew Bryson & Raylen James Ford; siblings Raymond Berg, Sharon Brahosky and Judy Taylor all of Thief River Falls, Minn.; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law Michael & Judy Ford of Crestwood, Ky.
Mrs. Ford was preceded in death by daughter, Rhonda Kary Ford, her parents, Edward & Gertrude Edgar Berg & parents-in-law, Robert & Alvena Prater Ford. A member of the Church of Christ, she was an executive secretary at Vanderbilt University Informatics Center. She was a Cub Scout & Brownie Leader for many years. Mrs. Ford also loved to research genealogy, scrapbook, sew and collect Ty bears. Funeral Service: Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home When: 2:00 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013
