The Youth Career Action Network holds a College Application Day at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Holloway High School.
Students and individuals interested in applying to college are welcome to attend the event, which is part of Tennessee College Application Week.
Computers and Youth CAN staff will be available to assist individuals in the college application process.
Youth CAN is a part of the Mid-Cumberland Human Resource Agency.
For almost seven years, the program has been part of an effort to provide eligible youth, ages 16-21, with the financial and educational help they need to receive a high school diploma, GED, postsecondary diploma or certificate.
Youth CAN bundles many vocational and career planning services: free tutoring and study-skills training, occupational training and apprenticeships, adult mentoring, guidance and counseling, summer employment opportunities, life-skills and leadership training, character education and work-ethics development. |
