The Highway Commission reserves the right to accept any bid in their opinion to be the best, or to reject any or all bids.

BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS

LEGAL NOTICE OF MEETING CANCELLATION

The February 17, 2013 edition of The Murfreesboro Post contained the legal

notice for the February regular meeting of the City of Murfreesboro Board of Zoning Appeals.  The legal notice included Application Z-13-007 by Mr. Theodore Goodman of Murfree & Murfree, PLLC, for Ms. Jennifer Lea Travers regarding

property at 3515 Oakleigh Cove. This application has been withdrawn by the

applicant.  As a result, the Board of Zoning Appeals meeting, which was to be held at City Hall at 1:00 PM on February 27, 2013, has been cancelled.  The Board of Zoning Appeals will not meet in the month of February.  For further information, please contact the Planning Department at (615)-893-6441.

The City of Murfreesboro, Tennessee,

expects to receive $617,860, from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban

Development because of its standing as a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) city for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2013.

Notice is hereby given that the Community Development Department will conduct a public hearing as indicated above to obtain comments from residents concerning their desires for expending these funds.

Applicants for public service grants will be present to discuss their programs and their proposed uses for CDBG funding.

Input from the public will be used to assist the City in developing its annual Action Plan. A second public will be held April 4, 2013, to discuss the City’s proposed Action Plan, including use of available funds.

Interested residents are encouraged to

attend these meetings.
