Linebaugh Library holds its annual Storybook Christmas from 4-5:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5, before Santa lights the Rutherford County Christmas Tree later in the evening.
Favorite children’s storybook characters will be on hand, so bring a camera and have your picture taken with Maisy Mouse and Lilly from Lilly’s Purple Plastic Purse or shake hands with Geronimo Stilton.
Stir up some mischief with Junie B. Jones. Give a cookie to the mouse from If You Give a Mouse a Cookie.
As an added treat, The Linebaugh Singers will sing carols and Bruce Amato will perform a magic show.
Linebaugh Library will remain open until 6 p.m., just in time for a walk to the Square to see the lighting of the Christmas tree.
