Hungry families here in Middle Tennessee will get some much-needed help before Thanksgiving. “A Night of Praise” Benefit Concert will be at Central Middle School, 701 E. Main St. in Murfreesboro at 6:30 on Sunday, November 22.

The concert is hosted by The Well, featuring The Well Praise Team and Friends, and includes a special appearance by former Allman Brothers guitarist Jack Pearson. The concert is free, and guests are requested to bring nonperishable food. A love offering will be collected for Feed America First.

Feed America First is a Middle Tennessee nonprofit organization focused upon helping to relieve hunger in small towns and rural areas in 54+ counties in Tennessee, Northern Mississippi, and North Alabama. Director Tom Henry says “hunger will no longer be a problem in America when we refuse to allow our neighbors to go hungry.” Feed America First has distributed over 3 million pounds of food in 2009, and for each dollar donated they have been able to provide enough food for 12-15 meals.

For more information please contact Dave Bauder at 615-390-0165 or revnrev@thewellintheboro.org, or Tom Henry at 615-512-5915 or tomhenry@feedamericafirst.com.
