4-H offfers rocketry class

The Rutherford County Extension Office will be offering a rocketry class this spring.  

In this class, participants will build & launch a small rocket. The first class will be held at 6:30 p.m. March 29 at the Extension office, 315 John R. Rice Blvd.

The class will be open to students in the 5th-12th grades and is limited to 20 participants. The sign-up deadline is Feb. 28 and costs $10 per participant.

The 4-H program is the youth development component of UT Extension and is also the state’s largest youth organization. With more than 335,500 participants statewide, 4-H is available to young people in every Tennessee county.
