4-H Club to start hands-on science program

Do you like hands-on science? Do you wonder how machines work? Do you like to build projects? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then the 4-H Club Engineering project group is for you!

This group will cover topics from different engineering fields: Civil engineering (building bridges & structures), mechanical engineering (how machines work), electricity and chemistry. The first meeting will be held Jan. 26 at 6:30 p.m. at the Extension Office, 315 John R. Rice Blvd., Murfreesboro. For more information, please call (615) 898-7710.

The 4-H program is the youth development component of UT Extension and is also the state’s largest youth organization. With more than 335,500 participants statewide, 4-H is available to young people in every Tennessee county.
