| Breakfast is said to be the most important meal of the day, but it’s oftentimes overlooked or rushed.
That’s all about to change -- 3 Brothers Deli & Brewhouse will launch its breakfast menu along with extended morning hours.
Located at the corner of Walnut and Main Streets on Murfreesboro’s historic square, this downtown eatery will feature buttermilk waffles topped with an array of fruit, flavored syrups or powdered goodness. Bagels, breakfast sandwiches and muffins will also be available. Coupled with a mug of freshly brewed Seattle's Best coffee, the breakfast is bound to begin one heck of a day.
Owners Eric and Rob Fortney said they want make life a little bit easier on local residents, from working professionals to soccer moms.
“Go ahead, let us worry about the cooking and cleaning – at least for breakfast,” Eric Fortney urged. “This is one less thing for you to worry about, especially if you’ve got a long day ahead of you.”
3 Brothers will serve breakfast from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. during the week, and brunch will be offered from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday. As always, daily lunch specials are available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., followed by happy hour.
“We were searching for another way to bring our customers great options, and after some thought, we decided on breakfast,” Rob Fortney explained. “There aren’t many quick breakfast options around town, and especially not on the square, so we think this is a perfect fit.”
Jonathan Taylor, a downtown employee, said he couldn’t agree more.
“My co-workers and I have been looking for a place where we can grab a good cup of coffee before 10 o’clock on the square,” the Murfreesboro resident said. “And it is better than going somewhere corporate. I think it’s really important to patronize locally owned businesses so the money stays local.”
He’s been visiting 3 Brothers since it originally opened last year, and says, “Now I’ve got another excuse to go.”
Breakfast kicks off at 7 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 27. For additional details, visit www.3BrothersFamily.com or search 3 Brothers on Facebook. |
