The 2014 United We Style Fashion Show will be held on Saturday, April 5 at The Gateway Village located at 820 N. Thompson Lane in Murfreesboro. The VIP Cocktail Hour begins at 5:30 p.m., general admission begins at 6:30 p.m. and the fashion show will begin at 7 p.m.
Jim McCarrall, owner of Tangerine Salon and Spa, said, “Tangerine has always realized its potential for being a positive impact leader in the community, and a partnership with the United Way seemed a natural fit for this grand scale fundraising event.”
Kara Kemp, Salon Coordinator for Tangerine, added, “United We Style was a team-building opportunity which helped each team member gain a sharper perspective of the power and potential they possess which originated from a simple need in our community. Tangerine would not possess the same zest and constitution were it not for our charitable activities, and we will continue to hold strong to that devotion and lift each other up along the way.”
Tracy Toy, United Way board member and United We Style committee member, also commented on the event saying, “It's great to see so many people wanting to continue to make a difference in their community, and what a fun way to do it! This event increases the exposure of your United Way and helps people understand what a difference (United Way) makes.”
The fashion show will feature designs from local designers as well as fashions from Trendy Pieces, Bella’s Boutique and Worth New York. The fashion show is presented by Tangerine Salon and Spa whose staff will be providing hair styling and make up for the models. Tangerine Salon and Spa also serves as the presenting sponsor for the fashion show.
