One man was accused of robbing a 14-year-old boy of $70 cash while he sat in a car Friday at C&E Market on U.S. Highway 231 South (Shelbyville Highway), a sheriff’s deputy reported.

The boy and another classmate at Web School were parked at the store getting gas when the robbery occurred, Deputy Nick Carter reported. The robber approached him and said, “Give me your money.”

Because he was scared, the boy handed him $70, the deputy reported. The robber rode away in a gold-colored car.

A description of the suspect and his clothing were given to deputies.

All men in gold colored cars, nevermind a description.
