The creators of the Southern Girl's Rock n' Roll Camp, Youth Empowerment through Arts and Humanities, presents Rock Block Summer Camp, a co-ed music day camp offered as an extension of YEAH’s year-round Rock Block program that emphasizes learning music through collaborating and performing with a band. The week-long camp will take place at the McFadden School of Excellence from June 13-18 in Murfreesboro.

RBSC is a summer day camp for girls and boys ages 10-17. RBSC’s mission is to support a culture of positive self-esteem and collaboration among young people while building community through music. Campers participate in five days of band practice, supported by volunteer Band Managers, as well as a daily group workshops. Workshops include Recording and Songwriting, and on one day all bands will get a chance to design and print their own t-shirts. On Saturday, all campers will perform in a showcase for friends, family, and community members.

Tuition for RBSC is $180.  Siblings of any registered campers receive a $25 discount on tuition, and anyone can get a $15 discount by referring a friend to any of YEAH!’s summer programs.  More information is available on the registration page of the website. There are still 15 spots open for campers, so go to www.rockblockcamp.org to register.
