Woods, Pate join Pinnacle Financial Parnters

Jim Woods and Penny Pate have joined Pinnacle Financial Partners.

Woods, with 28 years of financial services experience, is a vice president and underwriter for Pinnacle’s automotive finance group. He comes most recently from J.P. Morgan Chase, where he was a credit underwriter.

Previous roles were with Fifth Third Bank, where he was a relationship manager in its commercial lending division, Ford Credit/PRIMUS Financial Services, where he was dealer account manager/business development manager, and Toyota Motor Credit Corporation, where he served as a customer account representative.

Woods earned a bachelor’s degree in business finance from Louisiana State University.

He is based at Pinnacle’s College Street office.

“Jim’s extensive automotive finance experience will be a tremendous asset to Pinnacle,” said Bill Jones, Pinnacle’s area executive for Rutherford County. “We are delighted to have Penny on board because of her expertise and record of providing superior client service.”

Patebrings 33 years of experience to her role of service specialist. She comes most recently from F&M Bank in Lebanon, where she was a head teller. Prior roles were with MidSouth Bank in Murfreesboro, and Pate spent 20 years at SunTrust Bank in Nashville.

She is based at Pinnacle’s South Church Street office.
