John (Yash) D. Kulaszewski

John (Yash) D. Kulaszewsk, age 72, passed away Saturday at Middle Tennessee Medical Center in Murfreesboro. He was native of Manville, New Jersey and the son of the late Adam Kulaszewski. He is survived by his wife of 38 years Barbara of Lascassas, daughters Maggie (Kenneth) Sims of Smyrna, Vicki Kulaszewski of Lascassas, Carol Kulaszewski of Tacoma, Washington, Tracy Mathieu of Manville, New Jersey, mother Beatrice Kulaszewski of Toms River, New Jersey, sister Sophie ( Edward) Slauson of Browns Mills, New Jersey and paternal aunt Victoria Gosk. Grandchildren Joshua and Ethan Bowers of Smyrna, Taylor Kulaszewski of Lascassas, Heather, Kenneth, Maegan Mathieu, Nichole (James) Stangle, Tommy and Jennifer Fromosky all of New Jersey, Ursulla Ronscavage of Washington, step grandchildren Jonathan, Justin, Sara Sims all of Smyrna, and great grandchildren James and Tyler Stangle, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother Adam Kulaszewski, Jr. He retired from the Murfreesboro City Schools Systems as a custodian with Hobgood and Northfield Schools. We will miss him greatly but his wonderful laugh and the stories he told of his childhood and youthful days will make us smile. Most of all we will miss his loving and tender heart. Visitation will be Thursday beginning 5:00 p.m. until service time at 7 p.m. at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
