|MTSU Department of Physics and Astronomy instructor Jeff Gritton will discuss “Galactic Superstructures” Friday, May 7, in the final First Friday Star Party of the spring semester.
The Star Party, which is free, will start at 6:30 p.m. in Wiser-Patten Science Hall Room 102. Weather permitting, an outdoor telescope observing will follow the 30- to 45-minute lecture.
An instructor at MTSU since 2008, Gritton earned his bachelor’s from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio, in 2006 and master’s from Ball State University in Muncie, Ind., in ’08.
Parking is available behind WPS after 4:30 p.m. The public is asked to park only in areas designated for parking. Handicap parking requires a state permit.
